We are now open. We value our guests and want to keep all of us safe and healthy. We have added improved cleaning products and procedures. We are following best practice protocols for cleaning, sanitization and disinfection. We are following recommendations from the CDC, our state and county, the Oregon Restaurant and Lodging Association, the Oregon Bed and Breakfast Guild and have watched countless webinars.
We have removed many difficult to clean throw pillows, a heavy canopy, quilts and blankets from the bedrooms. Our serving of food will be less family style and not as pretty. We need to do more individual servings. We can no longer have containers of Tillamook ice cream for self serve, but have added single serve ice cream bars.
We are fully vaccinated. Please only come to our home if you are feeling well. We can check your temperature for you. Masks are currently not required though this is subject to change. Protocols state we are not allowed to enter your rooms after you arrive to make beds and do daily cleaning. We can give you fresh towels and empty trash at your request. Please leave used linens, cards or games in your closet after using so we can clean them before returning to use.
On the happy side, our gardens are looking better because we have had time to water and weed most days. We bought the 2 adjacent lots below and to the west of our house and are clearing and removing invasive plants. We are working on new recipes. We are cleaning, painting, clearing, repairing and upgrading things to get ready for your 2023 visit. We have added a new bamboo fence, and sign. Here are some photos of our time off and projects.
